Special Events

PDIDA and its community and corporate partners will be creating special events, activities and promotions that are open to the public and encourage people from across the region to come explore the Pottstown Community. Below is a list of those events and information on what’s happening. If you would like to use downtown Pottstown for a community event or partner with us on an activity to promote the business district, please feel free to contact us.

• Member Show Opens at the Gallery School
  The Gallery at the Gallery School of Pottstown will open a new show on Saturday, February 9. The show features the Working Artists members of the School and will run until March 29. The show can be viewed during normal business hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 4:30pm, Thursday 10am to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 3pm. The Gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.
  
  Participating artists include: Linda Austerberry, Helen Hoover, Donna Meyers, Carol Ross Noyes, Jodie Sharadin, Joseph Hoover, Kellene Manville, Linda Turoczi, Ann Russek, Cari Myford, Carol Breslin, Dora Siemel, Cathy Paretti, Frank Bruno, Jeff Arbogast, Karen Benco, Erika Hornburg, Kristen VonHohen, Steve Kent, Mary Chisak, Mary Morgan, Annmarie Burkhart, Millie Lea, Monica Minninger, Robert Koch, Sandra Nestlerod-Hale, Sherry McVickar, Steven J. White, Susan Ploppert, Mary Ellen Christ, Tina Madonia, and Christine Burnley.
  
  An opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 16 from noon until 3pm at 254 High St. Participating artists will be there to discuss their work, and refreshments will be served. Receptions are always free and open to the public.
